San Antonio has what is generally considered the best waterpark in the world. We talked up Schlitterbahn to the kids for weeks.(Schlitterbahn water parks) When we got there, We were a little disappointed at the aged resort. You could tell that the park had been around for many years. Most of the rides used old fashioned tubes to float down man made waterways. However, after going of a few of them, we had to admit that they were very fun. About half way through the day we discovered that we had only been to 1/3 of the park. The other two thirds were modern and way fun. The highlight of the park ended up being the lazy river, which was anything but lazy. There was a spot where periodic flushes of water made for great body surfing as well as large waves of water throughout the entire river. The park closed at nine and we decided to call it a day. Dinner at Dairy Queen and then back to our house. We were all exhausted. Sorry but we didn't take any pictures on Monday.
