Other items I forgot to mention

Since Natalie and Heather missed their flight on Saturday night, we had extra time for dinner.  Rudy’s BBQ was the destination.  It was amazing.  Even Amy, who is not a bbq fan, liked the food.  We had bbq beef, turkey, chicken and sausage.  The surprise was the creamed corn (which they are known for).  It was very good.  We would spending the rest of the week with the kids (especially Rachael) begging for more Rudy’s.

Sunday evening, after the Riverwalk, Tower of the Americas, and the Alamo, we realized that we didn’t know where we parked the Suburban.  Not just the floor or parking space, but the entire garage.  We didn’t even know where the Garage was.  Between all of us we were able to piece together the stores that we walked past on the way to the Alamo and eventually located the car!  There is always a surprise ending to the adventure…. When I turned the Key nothing happened.  We did not have jumper cables, nor did anyone seem interested in helping us (and it was 102 degrees).  When all seemed lost, Rachael volunteered to start the car.  I gave her the key and she started the car… Go figure.  She thinks she is special.
